What is Petrochemical?

The petroleum industry is an industrial sector that extracts petroleum (including natural oil, oil shale, and natural gas) and refines and processes it. It consists of units such as oilfield geological exploration, oilfield development, and oil extraction, transportation, refining, and processing. Oil is the "blood" of industry and an important industrial energy source.

The development of the petroleum industry requires the following work:
(1) Carry out geological exploration, increase industrial reserves, and determine a reasonable reserve-production ratio;
(2) Strengthen scientific and technological research on oil extraction, and study and select reasonable extraction technology and oil well distribution based on natural conditions and factors such as reserve size and natural pressure of oil layers to improve the extraction rate of oil fields;
(3) Strengthen the construction of supporting projects for oil field extraction, and select reasonable transportation methods while developing oil fields;
(4) Improve the production technology and management level of oil refining and processing to ensure the automation and continuity of the production process
